The RCEP Regional Financial Banking Cooperation Conference, sponsored by the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee, will be launched on November 1, 2022.

It has been ten months since RCEP’s entry into force. In face of the increasing international political and economic challenges, strengthening cooperation among RCEP region’s financial and banking sectors is conducive to facilitating the RCEP construction for the region’s business communities through innovative and pragmatic cooperation, to developing the potential and space for regional economic growth, and to jointly addressing financial risks.

The conference will be held on November 1 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (Beijing Time) in an online-offline hybrid model. Among the attendees are leaders of the financial sector, heads of business communities and financial experts, who will analyze the current international and financial situation and the general situation after RCEP’s entry into force, facilitate financial and banking cooperation to fend off financial risks, and give suggestions on assisting banks to grab development opportunities brought by RCEP’s regional opening.
