On October 26, 2022, Xu Ningning, executive chairman of the China-ASEAN Business Council and chairman of the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee accepted the interview of China Daily. Mr. Xu Ningning talked about consolidating and developing the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam. Vietnam is China's largest trading partner in ASEAN for many consecutive years, and China has been Vietnam's largest trading partner for 18 consecutive years. From 2019 to 2020, China was Vietnam's fourth largest investor. In 2021, China became the third largest investor in Vietnam, and by the end of 2021, Chinese enterprises had invested US$21.3 billion in Vietnam.
