Xu Ningning introduced that China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd has operated in all ten ASEAN countries and secured contracts worth nearly 90 billion RMB. As a giant energy engineering enterprise in China, the Group’s business focus is aligned with national development policy which underlines China−ASEAN good-neighbourliness and economic cooperation between the two sides. The Group has achieved remarkable results in the perspectives of investing in ASEAN power industry, assisting in project planning, undertaking project investigation and design as well as construction, providing services for the whole industry chain.

Since its entering ASEAN countries, Power Construction Corporation of China, Ltd (POWERCHINA) has left its footprints in 9 countries in the region, honored with “International Milestone Project”, “Major Taxpayer”, “Special Contribution to Disaster Relief” and other awards conferred by ASEAN countries, and honored with “Luban Prize”, “National Quality Engineering Project” and other awards conferred by China. All these awards embody that POWERCHINA highlights win-win result in its development in ASEAN countries. The word “win-win” is exactly the impetus for the sustained development of China−ASEAN good-neighbourliness and cooperation.

With branch offices set in 7 ASEAN countries, China Road & Bridge Corporation (CRBC) has contracted to build a number of high-quality projects and contributed its share to the infrastructure construction in the region. In this regard, CRBC has received many awards given by ASEAN countries including Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia, etc. Technological edge, scientific management, high emphasis on quality, active participation in local charity activities and localized management explain CRBC’s success in ASEAN countries.

China International Water & Electric Corporation (CWE) is the first state-owned enterprise of Chinese hydro-power industry to take part in international economic cooperation. Since its debut in ASEAN countries in 1989, CWE has contracted nearly 30 projects in 6 ASEAN countries. Environmental protection, respect for local culture, training programs for local talents and other practices lead CWE to success in the region.

Awards and honors also come along. These investment projects have not only spurred the local economic growth, but also embodied CDTO’s hard-work. “Sharp business sense plus persistent and active action” has helped CDTO obtain great potential for development in ASEAN countries.

Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) occupies the biggest market share in the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, and Cambodia. The success of XCMG in ASEAN countries teaches us that concrete and detailed work in market operation, right business partner and customer first are of great significance for companies to enter ASEAN countries on top of cost performance edge.
