BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported 36 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total tally of infections to 16,022.
According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, the newly recorded cases included 20 local infections and 16 import cases.
As of Jan. 19, 94.7 percent of Brunei's population have administered at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines, while 93.8 percent have completed two doses and 35.3 percent have received three doses.
A total of 370 active cases are still being treated and monitored in the country, and 102 patients have died.
